OldAmateur Posted May 21, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 21, 2017 Werbung (verschwindet nach Registrierung) Hi, I have had my X-100 (the original model) for quite some time. But today a symbol came up which I can neither get rid of nor find any reference to in the handbuch. I have tried to describe it as well as I could in the title, above. Also attached is a photo of a rough drawing of this Symbol. I would appreciate any Explanation of what this Symbol is called, what it means and how to activate and deactivate whatever function it represents ... Thanks very much for whatever help you can give me. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Uwe Richter Posted May 21, 2017 Share #2 Posted May 21, 2017 I guess that this sign means "Wideangle conversion lens" on the x100s and x100t, but I have no idea if there was this feature also on the original X100
micaelo Posted May 21, 2017 Share #3 Posted May 21, 2017 I don't own nor use the X-100, nor have I ever seen such symbol. Anyway, to me it looks like an accessory lens (to be) attached to the camera lens (macro? wide angle? telephoto?).
micaelo Posted May 21, 2017 Share #4 Posted May 21, 2017 (edited) Got it I guess this symbol pops up in the EVF/LCD if you have selected "TELE" or "WIDE" in the shooting menu under conversion lens option (see framed red in the pictures below). Unless you have a conversion lens attached to your camera you should set this option to OFF. Welcome, dear visitor!
