Der Architekt Egon Eiermann hat die 1968-1972 erbauten Olivetti-Türme entworfen. Er war einer der einflussreichsten Architekten der Nachkriegszeit der BRD bis zu seinem Tode 1970. Die Türme zählen zu seinen wichtigsten Bauten. Sie erheben sich auf trichterartigen Betonpfeilern. Die Türme sind jeweils 57m und 52m hoch und haben 14, bzw. 12 Etagen, wobei die Vollgeschosse erst ab der 5. Etage beginnen.
