Thanks for the good review and the nice pictures, indeed. I will try to reproduce a situation to find out whether my X10 is having this orbs issue, too. Fuji announced that in Mai a new sensor should be available and that users owning the X10 having the problem should contact a Fuji service point. The sensor should be replaced..

 

PS: I really do enjoy the macro capabilities of this camera, too!
